Three Steps to Sign In
TEMPORARY ISSUE: When you log into Backcountry Ascender for the very first time, there is a green ‘PLAY THIS GAME’ button that will start and configure your game board. On some mobile devices, this initial ‘PLAY THIS GAME’ is hidden and does not allow the game to start. If you do not see the ‘PLAY THIS GAME’ button on your first mobile login, log in once from a Computer or tablet to configure your game board and you will be good to go from then onward on your mobile device.
Step One: Click “Sign In” on the top right of this screen, or here: Sign In
Step Two: Select your authentication method. Your Facebook account, any Google account or email address, or any Office 365 account or email address will work.
Step Three: Enter in your State or Province Association to continue. You can also add your snowmobile club, your sled brand, and your dealer. If your club or dealer is not in the list, select your association for now and mail us at info@sled360.net. We will add your club to the list and you can update your profile later. If you have a twitter account, you can enter it here as well.

Three Steps to Submitting a Sortie
Step One: Once you sign in, you will be brought to the “Activity Dashboard”. Here you will see the top performers and recent activity. The very first time you sign in, click on “Play this Game” to be brought to your game board.
Step Two: From the second time you sign in onward, click on “My Game Board” in the menu bar to be brought to your game board. Once on your game board, you will see all the mission levels and sorties listed. The first mission level will be the only one unlocked. Once it is complete and approved, the second mission level will unlock. Click on the first sortie to begin.
Step Three: In a sortie, the box at the top will indicate what evidence is required for completion. If it is a text or url response that is required, enter that in the Description box at the bottom of the sortie and click “Record Achievement”. If you are required to upload a photo, select “File” at the bottom of the sortie and click “Record Achievement”. That’s it! Your sortie evidence will be reviewed and you will earn your points once it is approved.

Get to Your Game Board
To get to your game board, click on “My Game Board” in the menu bar. If you don’t see “My Game Board” on the menu bar, click on “Activity Dashboard” or “BackcountryAscender” in top left of the menu bar. “My Game Board” should now appear. If it is the very first time you have signed in, you will have to click on the green “Play this Game” button in the bottom center of the screen – but this will appear only the first time you sign in.
Edit Your Profile
To edit your profile, click on “Profile” in the menu bar. Here you will be able to update your snowmobile club, your sled brand, and your twitter username and settings. Click on “Save” to capture your updates and be brought back to the leader board.
Share Your Badge
You can share the badges that you earn at any time by clicking on “Badge” in the menu bar. There you will see an image URL and embed code that you can use. This URL will always stay the same, even as you earn higher ranked badges. Download it, post it, share it!
Resubmit a Paused Sortie
A paused sortie, showing up as “paused” on your game board, may be paused for several reasons: it requires more evidence or a clarification in evidence, requires a photo as evidence, or is waiting for you to complete an external action (such as a course).
Resubmit a sortie with a correction or update as follows:
1. Click so that you are back in the sortie
2. Scroll to the ‘Record Achievement’ section in the sortie, click on the 3 vertical dots and select ‘Edit’
3. Update your answer.
4. Click on the green ‘UPDATE AND RE-SUBMIT ACHIEVEMENT’ button to ‘Submit’
Resubmit a sortie that requires a photo as evidenceas follows:
1. Click so that you are back in the sortie
2. Scroll to the ‘Record Achievement’ section in the sortie, click on the 3 vertical dots and select ‘Edit’
3. Click on the “File” button and select your photo
4. Click on the green ‘UPDATE AND RE-SUBMIT ACHIEVEMENT’ button to ‘Submit’
